Veneto, Mid XVIII Century

Pair of baroque mirrors in carved and gilded mecca wood, Veneto, mid-18th century. Carvings depicting leafy and floral elements, curls and rocaille-style motifs. Deficiencies in the gilding.

Venice, Late XVIII Century

Venetian mirror with carved and gilded shaped frame, enclosing acid-etched mirrors decorated with characteristic ornamental motifs; central mirror replaced, the frame was partially re-gilded.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Baroque drop-leaf secretaire of Tuscan production supported by curved legs; the inferior band is moulded both on the front and on the sides; it has two drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides a compartment with shelf and drawers. Veneered in olive tree with ebonized threads. The internal writing surface is finished with the same motives; inside in silver fir and poplar. The cabinet has sockets with enameled medallions representing landscapes; the vents are a later addition.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Group of 4 baroque walnut chairs, open backrest with floral and leaf carvings, wavy legs. Padded seat, recently redone, covered in eco-leather. Third quarter of the 18th century

Rome, Third Quarter XVIII Century

Baroque commode subsequently transformed into a bedside table by blocking the top, Rome, third quarter of the eighteenth century. Supported by four wavy legs, on the wavy front it has two shaped doors in the lower part; the upper surface is also shaped. The external surface is veneered in various essences, including walnut, cherry, maple and fruit wood. The top, front and sides are then decorated with walnut pedule reserves placed within maple borders, with the same number of panels in the center containing inlaid compass roses. Gilt bronze applications placed at the top of the uprights.

Mid XVIII Century

Baroque walnut chest, Italy, mid-18th century. Tripartite front, decorated with rocaille style carvings and curls placed within reserves, uprights with forty-five degree pilasters carved in a curl. Restorations.

Lombardy second quarter XVIII century

Writing desk resting on wavy legs with goat feet, drawer in the band under the top, top and riser with carved crown depicting plant motifs and central star. On the bottom, the riser has a coeval protrusion indicating that the piece of furniture belongs to a boiserie, probably a bookcase. The piece of furniture is decorated with inlays depicting floral motifs present in the solid wood of the top and walnut briar veneer with maple threads also present on the drawer and upstand. Piedmont Third Quarter XVIII Century

Baroque Gueridon with open finish, supported by tall, slightly wavy legs, has a drawer on the front and an upper tray shelf; in walnut, the interiors are in poplar.

Ferrara Half XVIII century

Pair of walnut baroque armchairs on an English model, Ferrara mid-18th century. Backrest with lyre-shaped folder, wavy armrests ending in a curl, apron and wavy legs. Inlaid with phytomorphic motifs in bois de rose, walnut briar and maple on the folder and on the legs, piping in bois de rose. Restorations.

Emilia Romagna, XVIII Century

Baroque coffee table supported by wavy legs, in walnut, the top is decorated with phytomorphic maple inlays. The mechanism that allowed the opening was blocked and modified, transforming it into a fixed table.

Italy, Mid XVIII Century

Open bedside table in walnut with shaped and inlaid top, front with door bearing carved knob and wavy legs with carved feet. The entire structure is inlaid with bois de violette, bois de rose and maple. Italy 18th century.
