Work in two volumes. Half leather bindings with marbled corners and plates: gilt titles and friezes on the spine with five raised bands. Slight abrasions to platters, edges and corners, back and headphones. Woodworm holes in the back plate of volume I. Frayed cuts, burnished with dust spots; golden head cuts. Well preserved leaves with rare flourishes on the first and last leaves and minimal imperfections: in volume I, small brown spot in 3.4, bluish spot on the lower margin in 6.3-6.4; to volume II minimum hole and tiny patch applied as a repair to the lower corner in 7. Paperbacks kept at the end of the volumes. English text. Latin translation.
