Example in fair condition. Half leather binding with gilt titles, decorations and friezes on the spine with five bands: dust stains on the plates; abrasions to the plates, edges, corners and hinges, more intense on the back plate; minimal worm hole at the hinge of the front plate; paper placement insert applied to the spine. Cuts with dust spots. Paper insert for placement on the front pastedown and sign of removal of another insert (presumably Ex-libris) placed above it. Some boards have light and pale blooms, other boards are more burnished and with a massive presence of blooms. Damp stains scattered inside the volume. Text in French. Texte en Français.
