Contends that during the Ustasha dictatorship in Croatia between 1941-45, forced conversions to Catholicism of Orthodox Serbs, and murder of Serbs, Jews, and Gypsies took place with the active collaboration of archbishop Aloys Stepinac. Examines the responsibility of the archbishop and of the Vatican for the ethnic-religious genocide; not only did Stepinac do nothing to stop the murders, but the Catholic Church was a fundamental part of the Croatian State. The Catholic Church was interested in transforming Croatia into a state with a single religion. In 1998 Stepinac was beatified by the Vatican.
