Description
Published for the first time in Venice in 1683, the two volumes narrate the events relating to the long war of repression aimed against the piracy exploits of the Uskok population, Christian Catholics settled in Istria. The years from 1590 to 1602 are described by the Archbishop of Zadar Minucio Minuci; after his death the work was completed by Paolo Sarpi, like Minuci a spectator and in some cases protagonist of the events narrated.
