Description
Elegant editions four years after the premiere of Daudet's novel, illustrated, as indicated in the fortespice by "Dix illustrations de Rejchan. Gravées à l'eau-forte par E. Abot et A. Duvivier. Vignettes dans le texte par G. Montaigut" . Our specimen is further embellished by an illustrious provenance: as evidenced by the beautiful Ex Libris of Prince Constantin Radziwill and the noble coat of arms on the spine, it in fact comes from the library of the Chateau d'Ermenonville.
