36 volumes bound in 18 volumes: lacks volume Appendix to the Works of Vittorio Alfieri, the Second Part and is missing one of the two engraved plates in volume which contains the Life. Poor binding in half cloth with corners and titles on piece to the back edge of the plates slightly worn, traces of dust to the back and to the plates; the tome that brings together volumes 15 and 16 of the Posthumous Works has a binding other than, in half leather, in poor conditions (deficiencies in the spine and cuts to the hinges). Cards internal are generally well preserved with rare blooms, and the occasional stain brown/gora moisture

Our sample, in addition to the works published in the life and posthumous author, presents in the Appendix the First Part, the Dissertation critique on the Tragedies of V. A. Giovanni Carmignani, and, in the Last Volume, the Praise of V. In Antonio Buccelleni, the Four letters of Ottavio Falletti of Barolo on some of the posthumous works, the Notice sur la personne et les ouvrages du Comte V. A. which follows the general Index divided by subjects. Lacks the Appendix Part the Second with the writings of Teotochi Albrizzi, Saverio Bettinelli, Gius. Cooper-Walker, Stefano Arteaga. Among the Posthumous Works are the Life of V. A. written by himself, and all the translation work of the poet, the province of Asti. Portrait of Fabre engraved by Becceni in the outer door; to the two volumes devoted to the Life (vols I-II of the Posthumous Works) below is a Note from the Publisher that announces the gift to the Subscribers of the two engravings related to funerary monument designed and built by Canova: only the second is present in the volume, on the verso of the vol.II of Life.
